VISION
From Parrish to Gillette, we’ve worked together to shape the tone and visual identity of Nelson Brothers—establishing a distinctive presence and becoming a driving force in media marketing within the industry. Now, we want to take those efforts further, with a renewed focus on recruitment, employee retention, legacy storytelling, and product visibility.
As Nelson Brothers approaches its 70th anniversary, we stand at a pivotal moment. The coming years will see a strategic shift in the business toward rock quarries and mineral mines, alongside significant investment in the expansion of Specialty Chemicals.
We want to partner with you to preserve this remarkable 70-year legacy through a cinematic, documentary-style film—while also developing a library of video and photo assets that align with the company’s evolving future.

“A Legacy in Motion”
- A 70 year Legacy Captured on Film
A powerful documentary-style film to preserve your company’s legacy and showcase your impact on the industry and community.
Woven through the voices of each family member, the story unfolds: how Dugan and Olen laid the foundation, how the next generation stepped in with grit and vision, and how the company weathered setbacks, celebrated triumphs, and expanded across the globe.
This film will stand as a living testament to the values that have endured across three generations.
Act I – Humble Beginnings
This documentary opens in 1956, with Olen and Dugan Nelson establishing Nelson Brothers with grit, determination, and a belief that family and business could grow hand-in-hand. We’ll explore the early days—when the company was small, lean, and rooted in personal relationships—and how their values laid the groundwork for what would become a multi-generational legacy.
Act II – Growth, Challenges & Resilience
As the business passed to the second generation, Nelson Brothers faced significant challenges: economic downturns, industry consolidation, shifting regulations, and the pressures of scaling while preserving its culture. Through interviews with family members and longtime team members, we’ll examine these moments of tension and transition. This act focuses on resilience—how the family made hard decisions, innovated and brought their flagship product PowerNel Emulsions to market and grew stronger without compromising the core values that defined them.
Act III – A Legacy in Motion
Now preparing for a third generational shift, Nelson Brothers stands at a turning point—firmly established yet still evolving. This act casts a hopeful eye toward the future, showcasing how the next generation is stepping in with fresh energy, new ideas, and deep respect for the past. As the film closes, we reflect on what it means to build something that lasts—not just in business, but in family.
This is more than a corporate documentary. It’s the story of a family’s commitment across generations.—The narrative arc intertwines personal family stories, technical innovation, and perseverance - honoring the founders, celebrating expansion, and projecting hope through a seamless blending of past. present, and future.

INVESTMENT
The full scope of production for this multi-part documentary and content campaign is valued at $232,900. However, by executing the entire project as a unified effort, we’re able to reduce the total investment by 15%—bringing the cost down to $197,650.
This savings is made possible by strategic planning and production efficiency. By consolidating shoot days, minimizing travel redundancies, and streamlining crew logistics, we’re able to maximize our time in the field and multiply the number of deliverables captured per day.
This approach not only reduces costs—it ensures consistency across the storytelling, visual quality, and brand voice of each piece of content. It’s a smarter investment that delivers greater value now and positions Nelson Brothers with a strong library of high-impact media for years to come.
